![]() Thankfully, the gregarious and quite hilarious professor in this course was able to simplify arguments that we weren't quite understanding at first so that the course was not as hard as I imagined it being. My thoughts going into the course were that it would probably be an exciting, but also intellectually demanding course to take. ![]() I knew that this course would help me to whittle down my previously held beliefs to have a stronger foundation of what I believe, and of how to justify it through philosophical arguments. Reasons I chose Philosophy over any other applicable course, were that I had gotten a taste of Philosophy in my previous World Religions course and that I genuinely was excited to learn about world-renowned philosophers and their arguments for myself. ![]() To satisfy the depth requirement in Humanities for my degree, I took Philosophy 1000: Introduction to Philosophy during the Fall Semester of 2017.
